When making my own handles for firesteels I like to use the very best firesteel blank I can find. The trouble is very often firesteel blanks are not that great (cheap copies). Well, these ones are exactly the same (if not better) than those used commercially. So if you have been in the same boat as me visit the site below and view the HIGH GRADE variation of the steel.
