I had some very sad news a few days ago. A good friend of mine passed away.
I first met Andrea about 6 years ago, when I helped her and the team of volunteers at a small Nature Reserve in Essex that Andrea loved and cared for. Her passion for working outside and love of nature was second to none, and the amount of time given by her to improve and help the wildlife of Essex was admirable to all, it certainly rubbed off on me.
Andrea will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family, and although I know the majority who read this will not have known Andrea personally, you would certainly be able to relate to the conservation work she carried out (all as a volunteer).
I have set this page up to help raise some funds for Andrea’s chosen charity, so if you can spare some money for the British Heart Foundation, it would be greatly appreciated, even if it’s just a few pennies!
